The space

For a couple looking to escape to Oxford for a long weekend, or corporate or leisure guests looking for smart serviced accommodation with all the comforts of home, this 1 bed apartment is ideal.

Guests find having a private off-road parking space really handy, especially in these COVID times when public transport is restricted. So enjoy being able to park your car right outside this ground floor apartment, and not having far to carry your bags to get inside.

When you get inside, you’ll find a beautifully presented apartment that’s professionally cleaned with high-grade sanitising detergent spray, so all surfaces will be clean and ready for your stay.

The lounge and dining area share the same bright and welcoming space, with wooden flooring throughout and access through patio doors to a private garden area. So be sure to open those doors and let the fresh air in as you relax on the large sofa (which converts to a double bed, by the way). 

Grab the remote control and flick through the channels on the smart TV which lets you sign-in to your Netflix account if you want. The table in here is obviously an ideal place for snacks and meals, but also for work and games.

The kitchen gives you somewhere modern to store and prepare a variety of food to enjoy during your stay. And no doubt, having a washer/dryer all to yourself will come in handy (something you won’t get in any Oxford hotel or B&B!).

BEDROOM

If there are more than 2 of you staying here, whoever doesn’t get the sofa bed (which is a very comfy one) will have use of the bedroom. And, as you’ll see from the photos, it’s another space that’s presented to a very high standard. Although those photos show the bed arranged as a double, it can be configured as two single beds if you’d prefer. The bed will be set-up in the following configuration as standard: Bedroom 1 - 1x Kingsize Double Bed (Can be set up as 2 x Twin/Single beds). Bedding and Linen for the Sofabed will only be left out if there are more than 3 guests booked to stay unless otherwise advised by you that it is required. Just let your hosts know your preference ahead of your stay. 

And whether you prefer baths or showers, this apartment accommodates both in a space featuring a modern suite with a tub with shower over, plus a WC and wash basin. Premium-quality towels and toiletries will be waiting for all guests to use.

This apartment is called the Bannister Suite, but there are no stairs or bannisters, as it’s all on one level on the ground floor, giving you step-free access from the road to the rooms, and the outside space.
